What Is Coolsculpting Fat Freezing?

The CoolSculpting® fat-freezing procedure destroys unwanted subcutaneous (underneath the skin) fat cells in different areas of the body. It works on removing stubborn fat from the abdomen, thighs, bra fat, double chin, flanks and sides or upper arms.

How does Coolsculpting Fat Freezing work?

Losing or gaining weight generally does not increase or decrease the number of cells. Instead, it changes the size of fat cells. When weight is gained, fat cells get bigger.

After dieting and weight loss, fat cells get smaller but the number of fat cells stays the same. Losing weight does not make fat cells go away.

The CoolSculpting® fat‐freezing procedure destroys fat cells. These fat cells are naturally processed and eliminated.  

What to Expect?

After an initial consultation with our qualified team, we’ll determine if you are a suitable candidate and discuss the areas you wish to improve. 

Once treatment area/s are selected, the device is positioned on your body and controlled cooling is applied. A gel pad and applicator are applied to the targeted area. Vacuum applicators draw the tissue into the applicator cup. Applicators are secured to the treatment area. All applicators deliver controlled cooling to the targeted fat.

 It feels very cold at first but this subsides after a few minutes. There may be sensitivity and bruising in the area for a few weeks.

Results start to be seen after a few weeks and the process takes up to 24 weeks to see full results.
