Do I need a referral to see the chiropractor?
No referral is required for a private appointment. Different documentation may be needed for a care plan, insurer or compensation matter, so check those arrangements before booking.
What happens at the first appointment?
Morgan takes a history, assesses the relevant area and discusses findings, options and consent. Treatment is included when appropriate within the 30-minute initial appointment.
Does chiropractic always involve spinal manipulation?
No. Care may include mobilisation, soft-tissue techniques, exercise, lower-force approaches, manipulation and practical advice. Assessment and your preferences guide the choice.
Can I claim through private health?
HICAPS is available for eligible clients. Your fund determines the rebate and any annual limits.
When should I seek urgent medical care instead?
New severe weakness, loss of bladder or bowel control, significant trauma, chest pain, breathing difficulty, stroke-like symptoms, fever with severe pain or other urgent red flags need prompt medical assessment rather than routine booking.
