Genuine Lumenis AcuPulse CO₂ Laser
Advanced resurfacing for selected acne scars, lines, sun damage and uneven texture—with the depth and coverage personally chosen for your skin and recovery goals.
How this treatment can help
Precision resurfacing selected for the change you want to see
The genuine Lumenis AcuPulse CO₂ laser gives our experienced team the versatility to soften selected scars, smooth rough texture, refine lines and improve sun-damaged skin at a level chosen for the concern and your available recovery time.
CO₂ energy is absorbed by water in the skin, creating precise microscopic areas of resurfacing. As these areas heal, fresh surface skin forms and collagen remodels over time. Fractional treatment leaves untreated skin between the columns to support recovery; more complete resurfacing may be considered for selected concerns.
Deep mode creates narrower treatment columns, Superficial mode works across more of the upper surface, and Combo brings both approaches together. The value is not simply having several modes—it is knowing which depth, density and coverage your skin needs. Preparation, eye protection, smoke evacuation, wound care and follow-up are all part of our professional treatment process.

Your treatment experience
What the treatment process looks like
Plan the result
Katy examines the scar, line, texture or sun damage, then discusses your skin, healing history and how much recovery you can realistically manage before recommending a treatment depth.
Resurface precisely
Protective eyewear and professional safety measures are used while depth, density, pulse mode and coverage are selected for the planned result. Sensation and visible endpoints are monitored throughout.
Heal with support
The treated skin looks and feels like a controlled healing wound. You receive written wound care, product and sun-protection instructions, plus clear warning signs and follow-up timing.

From technology to treatment plan
Depth, density and recovery are linked
Deeper or denser treatment can create a stronger wound response and more downtime. The most aggressive setting is not automatically the best setting. We balance the concern, scar depth, pigment risk, healing capacity and the recovery you can safely manage.

Frequently asked questions
Your questions, answered clearly
These answers explain the general experience. Your consultation is where we confirm what is appropriate for your skin, health and goals.
What is AcuPulse?
AcuPulse is a Lumenis medical 10,600 nm CO₂ laser workstation with SuperPulse and continuous-wave capabilities for fractional resurfacing, full-field ablation and selected surgical applications.
What do Deep, Superficial and Combo mean?
They are AcuPulse fractional modes that alter the depth and surface coverage of microscopic treatment zones. Combo combines deeper columns with more superficial coverage for selected concerns.
Is AcuPulse the same as DeepFX and ActiveFX?
Lumenis uses DeepFX and ActiveFX names for fractional CO₂ solutions across its platforms. With AcuPulse, we focus on the actual depth, density, energy and treatment mode rather than relying on a marketing name alone.
How much downtime does CO₂ treatment involve?
It varies substantially. Light fractional resurfacing may involve around a week of visible healing, while deeper or full-field treatment can require longer. Redness may persist after the surface closes.
Can AcuPulse treat every acne scar?
No. Rolling, boxcar, ice-pick and tethered scars differ. CO₂ can improve selected scars, but some need another technique or combination plan, and active acne should usually be controlled first.
How is treatment priced?
Pricing depends on the area, depth, treatment time, preparation, consumables and aftercare requirements. A CO₂ consultation is required before a current quote can be given.
Personalised professional care
Experience matters when treatment is personal
Our qualified and experienced team starts with what concerns you, then selects the treatment, technique and settings around your skin or body—not a one-size-fits-all menu.
CO₂ laser procedures are not suitable for everyone. Possible risks include prolonged redness, infection, pigment change, textural change, delayed healing and scarring. Suitability, intensity, preparation and recovery are confirmed only after consultation.
